In line with turning Canberra into an arts hub, The Arteen Furteens Arts Company is organizing our Second musical. Similar to its previous Musical Production, Cinderella Revamped, The Peter Pan musical is a chance for youths to produce our very own musical from scratch. Based on an original script, this musical is the modern version of the classic adventures of “Peter Pan” retold by today’s youth. Youths will have the chance to create a whole new musical with original songs and dance choreography.
They will have chance to produce their very own musical from start to finish. This artistic experience will serve as:
- An outlet for youths to display their creative talents.
- An opportunity to build a strong youth network.
- An opportunity for Canberra to explore the art scene better.
- A possible opportunity to raise funds for under privileged youths as well as a moral encouragement for youths who want to perform and get involved in the arts but have no guidance to head in.
The youth will have the opportunity to display their talents may it be acting, dancing, singing, designing, composing or constructing. We intend to invite as many youth to join us in this musical so that unknown talents can be discovered. We will also be building a strong network within the youths through this production.
